lit trip is gonna start in 5 hours! im excited yet rather reluctant to go. shit? i hope the reluctance is just as phase that everyone goes through. im already finding it hard to believe how im gonna survive 20 days from home, being almost constantly on the move, i think, ill die of exhaustion haha
by the time i get back, itll almost be common test time so like everyone else, im bringing mugging material. i brought quite little though, am hoping that lim min brought the rest.. since i packed so late.. i didnt have time to ask her wht she was bringing, although i know that heart of darkness was definitely on her packing list.
shopping with mum today was fun, i think she was damn bored.. maybe we cant shop as we used to anymore? its quite sad, the feeling and all is different alr. like when i go into a shop, she doesnt seem interested and vice versa. i guess, we're gna have to find a new past time tog.

had my first FRENCH dinner today. it was.. better than i expected! and no, i didnt try the snails. it wasnt even on the menu!
the weirdest thing i ate was.. duck liver and it isnt even THAT weird. realised that i had already eaten it before; about 2 weeks back, i had german with my mum, they had this weird paste like thing that was served alongside the bread. i thought it was some german processed meat? foudn out today that i was SO WRONG. it was duck liver and that it is best eaten with bread. its taste is really overwhelming, eating it alone kinda makes you wanna throw up. haha
sucky thing was that i had told my dad that one of the appetisers prob meant beef when it actually meant duck liver. when his food was served, he was SO SHOCKED ahha damn funny. in the end i shared with him. ate half of my scallops, gave him the other half and shared his duck liver.
i think the only person who actually enjoyed the liver was my mum. shes this huge fan of internal organs; her fav being the goose liver. gosh

the dinner was supposed to be my farewell dinner before i left for uk but dad wants another dinner on thurs, in laguna. omg. i dont even wanna go lah. that like, tampines? omgg i bet ill be franctically packing on thurs night. i can predict myself being very stressed. prob get another strand of white hair to add to that ever-growing collection.

funtasia wasnt too bad. had quite a bit of fun with pravin and kavi. everyone else was too busy tending to their stalls. i think all we did was eat; pigs i know. but at the end of it, i played gladiator (with chriselle) and laser quest (with pravin, kavi and liwen). we won laser quest? omg? haha i thought we lost. seriously, our ear thingys were vibrating like shit (indicating that we just died) but we played on nonetheless. i bet the other team did the same thing. gladiator was much fun! chriselle kept pushing me off though ahha i kept falling as a result. ian wowogan took really bad pics of me. i think, he is second to only bennyboy.





OH benny won the 'top screamer' contest haha its this game whereby they give you a mic for you to scream in, itll then calculate the no. of decibals ur scream was worth. mine was 135.5 i think. benny's was 138.0 and later, 138.8 haha damn loud, not to mention, SHRILL haha we took a pic of him screamg! sadly, its in his camera. he looked as though he was about to eat the mic! super funny haha anyhow, his name made it to the 'top 5 screamers' board but it was written as "BENJAMIN ANG". who the hell calls him benjamin ang.. so i took the initiative to ask for his name to be CHANGED to 'bennyboy', which someone later improved, making it 'benny boi' haha (: thats more like it. sounds so much more.. affectionate, right benny? watched kinky boots today! it was.. quite okay i guess. wasnt great but okay nonetheless.
poseidon was sucky, just as cheryl had to told me. super unrealistic and without plot. DO NOT WATCH IT. i cant believe i wasted 8 dollars on it, omg.
1 alright movie and 1 bad movie; im so almost broke. thankfully, its the nj funfair tmr. im gna be spending on coupons. i swear, the moment my 20 dollars is out, im going home. i need to slow down and start studying, really, i think im doing like crap in school. (and no, i shant elaborate)
moreover, i need to save cash. otherwise, im gonna die during the hols. the thought of 'no shopping' really freaks me out. im starting to miss the times (ie. last yr) when was spending solely on my savings and it felt so damn good cs i was SO RICH. haha.

im damnnnnn tired now.
woke up at like 7 tday. ITS A SATURDAY, mind you. kev and weiqi came over. we baked a choc ice cream cake for aaron BECAUSE it was his bday ytd. baking was fun. we even made pancakes! we got better after a few tries. the first few looked like pratas and omelettes haha. so much for good cooking. the last few were looking good though!
kevin has a future as a house husband. he was quite good! like he learnt how to 'fold' the thingy quite fast and he had such an affinity with the kitchen ahha ONLY HE could use the mixer thing without the backing? haha okay i think no one understands this part but i dont know how else to phrase it so live with it. weiqi will understand though, i hope.
however, despite all our efforts, aaron was SUCH an ungrateful wretch today. he was firstly LATE. meeting us at 4, instead of the agreed time of 1pm. but we were late too. could only make it by like 2 plus? weiqi and i were busy dolling up, just for the fun of it ahha i think, i want her to doll me up more often! she has all these ideas on how i should wear stuff which makes me go 'oh yah, why didnt i think of that..' ahha anw, i burst a pimple at her house. i couldnt take it. it was HUGE lah. i kept whining about it, even i was getting abit irritated haha i dont knw how they put up with it.
anw, met aaron at ps. we tried SO HARD to keep everything a secret from him so as to give him a surprise at dinner. but kevin and andre kept leaking secrets out so in the end, he knew quite a bit of the plans. damn him. haha. i think we just sat ard and wasted a lot of time until 7pm, when we took a cab to sticky rice!
had dinner there! we all treated aaron and gave him his cake. he didnt look very surprised, i think. but the cake's aesthetic appeal was probably equivalent to its taste, both of which, sucked to the core. his ice cream cake looked so messy, with all the melted ice cream, and the sponge cake didnt rise. ahha oh well. theres always next time. the guys were SO EMBARRASSING at sticky rice, playing with the whipped cream and all. andre and whipped cream just doesnt go cs andre on a sugar high, omg. aaron and him were like so hyper lah. i swear, you cant take em out.
oh theres a guy working at sticky rice from raffles. ahha so coincidental. i had to go there on his shift. i recognised him like almost immediately lah, somehow i always see him ard school. he was so different at work. i always thought him to be quite pai. maybe my judgement is getting a bit rusty.
after dinner, we went back to aarons house. i played xbox with kevin and OWNED at tennis but got trashed at basketball. shit. haha

today was so unproductive. so much for my study day haha
i planned to get up early to study, which i didnt. woke up at like noon, just in time for tuition. studied a bit of chem after tuition, did gp essay outline, went to the club for a bit, went for dinner, did gp essay. thats about it haha so exciting.

ytd was so much more fun (:
met chriselle to watch west side story! plots quite crappy lah. its pretty much like romeo and juliet but the songs were quite good i guess. we tried to watch take the lead after that but there werent any tickets so we met up with sam and basicallyjust talked. A LOT. haha

sat: was out with da! did a bit of shopping. still wanna go back though, theres like so much stuff iw anna buy now haha mng's new season is quite nice. im tempted to buy a summer dress! but ill never wear it so itll kinda be a waste of money i guess..
